A.N.E.’s managed backup solution is based on a NAS appliance which is implied on the customer's site, and a backup server, that is located in A.N.E.'s datacenter. The communication between the NAS appliance and the datacenter can exist on any IP connection. An existing DSL internet connection can be used if there is enough bandwidth available. The solution is easily adapted to the needs of the customer. Tariffs are per server and per month and are dependant on the amount of data that needs to be backupped.

This solution combines the advantages of a local backup and having data available on a remote location (datacenter). These advantages include:

• Locally present backup, which guarantees a fast restore
• Data is permanently available on a second, secure location ( datacenter )
